Prayer answered!

So I prayed for the Lord to show me if I was to continue to work to fight sex trafficking. The following day Human Trafficking was mentioned 3 times. 1 of those was indirect but the other two were others speaking to me directly. A week later I am on the phone with a friend and she recommends a book, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Her recommendation was because of my past work with Rescue Her.

I even wondered which organization to support and realized that Rescue Her was what I knew and what I believed in. I believe God was telling me to continue.

Before I prayed, I just wondered and worried. Once I realized I had not asked the Father; therefore, I have not because I ask not. I knew this would not be a question that would be amiss; so, I asked believing he would answer. I chose not to worry but to believe. I was passionate before but my focus was on some personal issues for a time. I am passionate again. Praise God for He does want me to continue!

I have read articles of little girls that are unwanted even at birth. They are seen a a burden and not a blessing. My heart ached and cried that these precious girls are not wanted. India is one of these countries. India has a huge sex trafficking market.

After reading Reedeming Love, I feel I have more understanding to the mental torture that a sex trafficked girl or woman endures. The brainwashing, and believing that there is nothing else for them must be hell on earth. Oh but there is something else or shall I say someone! There is Christ!

I will do another half this May for Rescue Her. God willing. I will be praying for areas to take the word and to share what Rescue Her is doing. I already have 2 places that have given me the ok! I hope to raise money but my priority is to see God's Kingdom here on earth. Chains broken, lives changed, and Christ glorified! If it be that I just talk and pray then let it be. If we raise enough to save girls out of prostitution we will celebrate like crazy people!

My prayer:
Our Father who art in heaven
Hollowed by thy name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Lord I believe you here my prayers and the prayers of others.
Your people are crying out for justice and salvation.
Break the chains that bind. For the women and the men that use them.
Stop the oppression dear Lord.
Heal our land.
I love you dear Lord and I thank you that you are moving and using your people to do Kingdom work. That you will be seen through their actions and move mountains that only you can move.
Praise be to you dear Father! Maker of Heaven and of Earth!
